Wedding Wednesday {Just Beachy}

Today's Wedding Wednesday brings inspiration for a laid back beach vibe wedding. If you love everything about the beach, but are not planning to say I do with sand between your toes then check out below for tips on how to bring the beach to you!

Centerpieces and Place Settings

Create a beach feel with a color scheme that is brought in with centerpieces and place settings. Use floral and plantation that represents the beach. Use sand in jars and candles to bring in the romance of the seaside shores.

Burlap, wicker and neutral colors make guests feel as though they are just a jump, hop and skip away from the water.

Decor

Bringing props and decor add the fun of imagining you are right on the coast.

Menu

If you really want that beach feel create a food and beverage menu to match. Seafood is an obvious choice, but do your research and work with your caterer to create food items for those guests who can't have or do not want seafood.

Invitations

Although this should be an obvious one, I will list it anyway!

Party Favors

Keep your beach theme going, and let your guests take a piece of it home with them!

Wedding Thursday??

Hello Everyone!

So sorry this wasn't posted yesterday, so today will be Wedding Thursday!

Today's Wedding Wednesday Thursday is for the Do-It-Yourself bride. If you are looking for ways to add a personal touch to your wedding or just looking to cut costs we have just the thing in store for you my dear. I have found some party favors that add a creative and personal touch for pennies on the dollar!

                                                                     Drink Mixes

This is a great party favor that will leave guests remembering the good times they had long after you and your honey are sailing off into the sunset. It's also perfect for any occasion! Create a lemonade mix, or hot gourmet hot chocolate for those winter weddings.

 Snacks

Made to go snacks are not only delicious but fun as well! These party favors are always a hit with grown ups as well as kiddos.

 Bottles

Vintage milk bottles or soda bottles can be filled with anything! Personalized labels can be printed right off your own computer or ordered online.

 Candy

This has to be one of the most easy favors of all! Simply purchase some type of packaging at your local craft or culinary store and add in candy of your choice.

If you decide on a do-it-yourself party favor try to choose something that is simple, unique, and that does not require you to spend too much time. You will have enough to do already! Sometimes just finding something that you can add to a favor can do the trick!
